On Sunday November 2nd 2008 His Grace Bishop Serapion ordained the blessed servant George Yassa (now Fr. Lazarus Yassa) as a priest for the Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Mina Church, Riverside. Participating in the Ordination was His Grace Bishop Youssef of the Diocese of Southern USA. The new priest traveled to the Monastery of Saint Pishoy in Wadi El Natroun Region, Egypt to spend his forty days and will return to begin his ministry on December 20th 2008.
